I was born and raised in San Francisco and I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of San Francisco. After attending USF, I went on to San Francisco State University and received another Bachelor's degree in Health Education with an emphasis in Health Science. From there I obtained my Master's degree and my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California Graduate School of Psychology. After completing my pre- and post-doctoral training I went through a divorce and as many women know, divorce can be a life changing transition. Despite the emotional and financial upheaval, I was motivated to move forward to rebuild my life. I had a goal, a plan, and determination.
I started working as a Medical Social Worker and found myself dealing with case management issues in a hospital setting. It allowed me the opportunity to bring referrals and resources to those who needed support and encouragement. I worked with elderly patients facing chronic health issues and brought comfort and support to their grieving families who were often stressed out by the healthcare system. My passion for counseling and coaching individuals continued.
As time went on I had to think about my career path and whether I wanted to pursue my license as a psychologist. I made the decision to practice as a Life Coach because of the rewarding experience of working with individuals who are not looking back on their past but ready to move forward with their lives. As a Life Coach my clients are motivated and excited about reaching their goals and dreams. Our collaborative relationship is positive, fun, and energetic. I believe in the healing power of laughter and the internal strength that women possess, so be prepared to leave each session feeling validated, hopeful, and inspired. I'm here to remind you that you can accomplish what you want for your life. With a goal, a plan, and accountability in a collaborative relationship with a Life Coach to support you, you can start accomplishing things you desire to get done in your life...so what are you waiting for?
